The children in P6/7 have been very busy over recent weeks planning, making and delivering some beautiful Christmas crafts, in the hope of spreading some Christmas cheer. As part of their World Around Us topic the children had been looking at the work of different charities/community groups and decided that they would like to play a part in helping others this Christmas. The children were very kindly and generously sponsored by Warrenpoint Port in purchasing the materials they needed and worked very hard with Mrs Graham, Miss O’Shea and Jumping Clay to create some fantastic decorations. The crafts, along with other treats, were then distributed to friends and neighbours of the school as an act of kindness. The children would like to thank Warrenpoint Port Christmas Community Fund for their support in enabling this to happen and would like to wish everyone a peaceful and safe Christmas.
