Today our P4-5 Eco Club faired much better than the P6-7 group did yesterday with the weather.
We were able to get out to the garden where we planted some peas and carrots in pots to help them germinate close to the school building for a few weeks before we plant them in our gardening beds.
We were also able to plant out 2 drills of red and white onions. Hopefully we will be able to harvest these later in the year and make some carrot and onion soup like we did this year with our P1 class.
We also planted out our Cherry Blossom tree which was donated to the school to commemorate Northern Ireland’s centenary.
