The Eco Council have been busy recently preparing for our Healthy Living Topic. They created posters which they put up round the school and were encouraging all the children at break and lunch time to get out skipping ropes and have a go!! They organised ropes for all and the whole school went out for an hour today to jump to the beat. Our more able children were great role models to others who were struggling. We had double skipping, long rope skipping, individual skipping and a few even tried some double Dutch skipping.
Everyone really enjoyed what they were doing and everyone was exhausted at the end of the hour. Hopefully this will encourage all our children and adults to get a rope and get some fitness in before the Summer. Healthy Living is a priority to everyone.
