Our ECO Council are constantly trying to improve our school environment. With one of our core topics this year being Healthy Living we decided to hold a fruit taster day so that all the children in the school could maybe try out some fruits that they may not have tried before to encourage them to take a little more fruit at break time.
The ECO members worked hard to cut all the fruit and divide it out before distributing the plates round each room.
The children throughly enjoyed preparing and distributing the fruit and by all reports each class enjoyed tasting. P4/5 particularly enjoyed the kiwis. Other fruits that were distributed included apples, oranges, bananas, blueberries, kiwi, pineapple, pears, grapes, cherry tomatoes and melon.
