As part of our Textiles topic, Year 6 and 7 went on a shared trip with St Bronagh’s PS to the Irish Linen Museum in Lisburn. We had a great day and learned a lot of information about how flax was processed to become linen over different periods of history. We also participated in a very interesting felt making workshop.
