We had been learning how the ancient Egyptians used a device called a shaduf to help get water from the River Nile to irrigate their land. So today we combined our literacy and topic work lessons to unjumble a set of instructions on how to make a model shaduf. We followed the instructions in order to see if we had managed to put them in the correct order.
