Today P1 celebrated maths week by taking their lessons outside. We looked for numbers 1 to 5 that were hidden in the garden and then created circles and squares with natural materials that we found. We also found some contrasting leaves, stones, twigs and apples, some small and some big. Our number knowledge was then put to good use to make sets of 1 to 4 and finally we added different colours to our Autumn colour page. We all worked really hard and even had some time left over to make some trees with twigs!!!
