P1 had a very busy day as they took part in the Big Schools Birdwatch. During our Outdoor learning this morning, we all worked together to make a “Hide” so that the birds would not see us and still come to the bird table. We used camouflage netting with clips to secure the netting to the trees.
This is the 3rd year we have taken part but this year we were delighted to see 10 different types of birds…wow.
Congratulations to P1 who were able to keep so quiet for the time we took part, used their listening skills so well to hear the different birdsong and used their eagle eyes to spot the 10 different types of birds…well done P1.
