P3-4
13th May 2016
There was great excitement in the school garden this morning as primary 3 and 4 released 4 butterflies. Over the past few weeks we have been delighted to see how 4 baby caterpillars grew, transformed into chrysalides and then, finally emerged from their cocoons as painted lady butterflies. The new butterflies were very reluctant to leave their home at first and ventured onto a few of the children's hands before flying away.
