Following a workshop with local writer Declan Carville and local illustrator Lauren Caldwell, Primary six and seven had the opportunity to attend an after school poetry club. The children worked extremely hard to write and illustrate two poems each; we were very impressed by their final poems which were collated with the work of children from four other local schools to create a fantastic poetry book called, "Down Our Way". The book was launched yesterday at a celebration event and we're very proud of all involved!!
