Today Y2/3 visited Kilbroney Forest Park with the children from St Bronagh's Primary School for our fourth Shared Education session. As part of our lessons we have been using "The Magic Harp" by local author Declan Carville which tells the magical story of a boy called Fergal and his adventures in the forest. We were inspired by this during our trip to the forest today. We collected all sorts of natural materials during our walk through the Narnia Trail and used these to create mandalas. An enjoyable morning was had by all and we were delighted to see the beautiful weather return after last night's storm!
