In STEM club today we made thaumatrope or a spinning desk. When you flip the thaumatrope back and forward you can see both pictures at once. This works because your vision can still see the image for about 1/30th of a second after it has gone, so if you flip the thaumatrope fast enough your brain can see both pictures fast enough.
