The Masked Reader - World Book Day
World Book Day is being celebrated this week on Thursday 4th March. Each class will plan activities for their own class but we also thought it would be fun to do a whole school Masked Reader challenge!
Everyday next week, we will release a video featuring two of our teachers as Masked Readers and we want you to try to guess who is behind the mask. We will upload a template to Seesaw for recording purposes and answers will be revealed on Friday! We also plan to make a video of the children as Masked Readers as part of our World Book Day celebrations and we will upload details to Seesaw next week.
Normally, as part of our World Book Day, we also have a dress up day but given our current restrictions we thought this may have placed an unnecessary burden on parents this year. However we also appreciate the younger pupils love dressing up, so if your child has a costume at home or likes being creative, why not let them dress up as their favourite book character on Thursday and spend the day in costume. Please remember to send a picture to your class teacher and we'll collate them and put them on the website so the children can see each other.
