Today, the children in Primary 4 and 5 enjoyed a wonderful trip to Navan Fort to learn all about the Vikings. We heard facts about how the Norse people lived; the weapons they favoured and how they worshiped the Gods and treated their slaves so terribly. We had a chance to write using feathered quills and to use the Viking alphabet to write our names. We even met a real Viking, some of us were very lucky to escape with our lives!
