Windsor Park trip
What a day P4/5 had at Windsor Park Football Stadium in Belfast. We travelled to the stadium with the P7 children from St. Bronagh's Primary School and had a busy day learning about the history of our National Football team and getting a behind the scenes tour of the stadium. Some of the highlights were seeing into the player's changing rooms, getting to have a look around the VIP lounges and taking on the role of a player/reporter in the media centre. We learned that Northern Ireland was the 4th country in the world to have a National team, Windsor Park stadium can hold 18, 473 supporters and the team originally played in blue to represent St. Patrick.
