P4/5 have been looking at a range of instructional texts. We followed a set of instructions to make our own model shaduf (a device used by the ancient Egyptians to take water from the River Nile). Then we wrote our own instructions on how to make a sandwich, we swapped these with a friend who had to follow the instructions and do exactly as they said. Our instructions were clearly very good as we all ended up with a yummy sandwich to tuck in to.
