Year 3 and 4 Library Visit
Today the Primary three and four pupils walked down to their local library in Warrenpoint. With World Book Day on Thursday the children have been learning about lots of different authors and thinking about what books they are going to chose to create their book bag or box. They were very exited to explore the library and with lots of them being regular visitors they knew their way about. The children learned all about the history of ordering books using specific numbers and how they are organised according to the author's surname, which makes it much easier to find each book. Many of the children were keen to become members of the library and have taken home an application form so they can return to it to borrow lots of books. We were delighted to find out that you can borrow even accelerated reader books from the library.
