Year 6/7 have been looking at area and perimeter in real life contexts. We examined area and perimeter as decorators refurbishing a house; as farmers preparing fences for our land and as archaeologists mapping put Egyptian tombs! We also worked as a playground marking company and had to design and price a playground marking that fitted our client's requirements and budget.
